Responsibilities
Secure and manage container bookings with ocean carriers based on shipment requirements and agreed timelines.
Monitor booking status and proactively follow up with carriers to ensure timely confirmation and equipment availability.
Place bookings accurately in the GTN system.
Export and review shipment data for completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
Act as the primary liaison between Customer Operations teams, carriers, Business Units, and Control Tower (CTL) teams.
Support analysis of transportation metrics and supplier scorecards.
Maintain shipment documentation and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and transportation policies.
