Responsibilities
Apply didactic pharmacy knowledge in real-world practice under preceptor supervision
Complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap post-graduation
Support pharmacy operations including prescription fulfillment and patient service
Assist in immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where permitted
Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed by state law
Perform inventory tasks such as cycle counts and medication put-away
Demonstrate empathy and provide compassionate patient care
Follow SOPs and comply with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
Provide in-the-moment coaching and share best practices with team members
Support error prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance processes
