Responsibilities
Provides SMART customer service through daily execution of customer service policies
Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects
Communicates stock, special order, feature benefits, application, and warranty information to customers
Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in departmental duties or sales opportunities
Processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register according to company guidelines
Provides proper monetary change to CSA Front End associates
Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise
Assists in line busting and opens additional registers to reduce checkout wait time
Prepares register area by confirming equipment functionality and stocking supplies
