Responsibilities
Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
Answer customer or associate questions about cake decorating orders
Maintain knowledge of bakery products and make recommendations to customers
Check product quality and freshness, and review sell-by dates
Keep bakery cases full and fresh according to Bakery Standards
Track inventory for cake and pastry supplies, including special order items
Ensure cake kit book is updated and kits are in stock
Report product ordering or shipping discrepancies to management
Use kitchen equipment, ovens, freezers, and computerized scales safely and properly
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain temperature logs
