Oversees and directs pharmacy operations as Pharmacist-in-Charge
Monitors department performance and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards
Dispenses prescription medications including measuring, labeling, and verifying drug interactions
Counsels members on proper medication usage and responds to customer concerns
Conducts employee performance reviews and provides coaching and training
Schedules, trains, and mentors pharmacy staff
Reviews job applications, conducts interviews, and recommends hiring decisions
Orders pharmacy supplies and equipment using computer systems
Maintains perpetual inventory of Schedule II controlled substances
Ensures proper disposal of hazardous materials and upholds safety procedures
