Responsibilities
Greets and assists customers at the counter
Retrieves filled prescriptions and receives written prescriptions for pharmacists
Rings up orders and processes payments including cash, checks, and credit/debit transactions
Provides prompt and courteous customer service
Orders, receives, tags, and stocks prescription drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise
Counts pills and organizes filled prescriptions
Maintains cleanliness of the pharmacy area including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
Operates a trash compactor and cardboard baler
Follows safety and security procedures including hazardous waste disposal
Secures confidential paperwork and maintains customer confidentiality
