Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions
Receive and process written prescriptions from customers
Update patient records and enter prescription data into pharmacy system
Process third-party insurance claims in compliance with state law
Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies
Stock over-the-counter medications following merchandising plans
Operate cash register, process payments, and ring up customer orders
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow security protocols
Handle hazardous waste and immunization supply disposal safely
Provide excellent member service at the pharmacy counter
