Perform and assist in a variety of standard and specialized radiographic examinations and procedures

Work independently using extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, radiation physics and radiation dosage

Confirm appropriate clinical data, obtain patient history and use the lowest possible dose to provide high quality images

Provide for the emotional, physical wellbeing and safety of the patient while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality

Communicate effectively with patients and the health care team

Understand and perform other Radiology Department job responsibilities

Recognize and effectively communicate equipment problems

Perform other duties as assigned
