Responsibilities
Living our purpose by helping manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Taking direction from Pharmacy Manager and overseeing pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts without overlap including strengthening performance measures via effective coaching and consistent follow-up
Assuming Pharmacy Manager’s day-to-day duties when serving as only or primary pharmacist-on-duty
Supporting safe accurate prescription fulfillment by following directing team to follow workflow procedures utilizing safety guardrails at every workstation
Contributing to positive patient experiences showing empathy genuine care coaching team to do same demonstrating compassionate care collaborating with total healthcare team proactively resolving insurance medication issues
Proactively offering delivering immunizations keeping patients healthy engaging supporting technicians to learn immunize
Partnering with manager ensuring operations compliant with applicable state Board of Pharmacy regulations escalating issues concerns to manager Rx DL timely resolution if needed
Remaining flexible scheduling business needs contributing to safe inclusive engaging team dynamic writing schedule per directed
Maintaining relevant clinical technical skills for job industry evolves company required trainings CMEs actively seeking opportunities expand knowledge better support patients
